Every single day we have choices. Every single moment we make decisions.
Are you one of those people that takes full responsibility for each decision or do you blame others?
Maybe it’s time to step up or step out.
It’s difficult to put efforts into the needs of others when our own needs are not being met or we don’t even know what our needs are anymore.
Sometimes it forces us to look at ourselves and begin to wonder what’s the point?
We each have our own way of discovering the path that will remove the obstacles or finding solutions to create a new path…either way it may be time to jump into a new ring.
This is not going to be about reinventing ourselves (kinda tired of that phrase) but hopefully you may think about igniting a new spark.
When does faith and confidence in ourselves really count?
I have faith in a higher power, myself, and those closest to me really count most when I have doubts and at my lowest point.
Stepping out of the box, my comfort zone may be necessary to recover from the mental stress of a personal situation.
Easier said than done I know, but faith is what it will take to actually step out.
At the same time, when we are mentally challenged, stressed the hell out…feels like hoping for something better just won’t help.
Time stands still for no one and we have to keep the clock ticking…if not we will wither up.
Making every moment count stands for something.
It takes digging deep, accepting responsibility for our emotional state and situation to pull out of it. Not easy, but it becomes necessary.
Bottom line…eventually you have no choice, some action has to occur and having faith in ones abilities always helps.
There are times when I cannot muster up the strength to get my head around tasks for my business. Life happens and I lose focus.
There is no ONE solution or ONE answer that works for everyone. We each have to find what works for us.
I have a very dear friend that lost her hands and feet because of butt injections – Apryl Brown.
She wanted more than what she had even though she was already enough.
Apryl had a successful career, a profitable business, but there was STILL something missing.
She is my inspiration. I don’t care WHAT is going on for me…all I have to do is spend time with her.
Not only does her life situation inspire me to appreciate my own life, it’s her attitude that inspires me. I don’t know anyone more positive about their future.
She took her situation and looked at it as a new beginning. That’s not to say she does not have bad days as we all do…but she makes the best of those too.
Find an inspiration partner…it REALLY works.
Meditation Inspires Focus
Making time for myself to BE with me and let go has been the best practice for getting balanced.
I cannot support anyone else if I cannot support myself. Self care FIRST.
I have learned that when I am consistent and intentional, peace and calm appear. More positive actions start to show up, eventually life gets back to normal.
Consistent meditation increases my ability to focus. Clarity eventually becomes more evident.
My favorite tool for meditation is getting in a quiet space and listening to Oprah and Deepak Chopra. Not only do I enjoy the positive energy that comes from listening to them, the structure helps me with consistency.
Create a NEW Beginning
- Did you know Colonel Saunders (Harlan David Sanders) did not start Kentucky Fried Chicken until he was 40?
- Are you aware that Ray Kroc was 51 when he stumbled onto the McDonald brothers and history was made?
- What about Winston Churchill? He lost every bid for public office until he was 62 and became a prime minister.
If doubt is setting in, and you think “Damn, I just cannot do it anymore”, maybe you are a step away. Keep it pushin’.
When we are mentally challenged due to life issues, trying to maintain a business at the same time can be difficult and more stress seems to fill our lives and it can inhibit our ability to make sound decisions.
Our mental strength withers and we don’t always see how we are going to get out of this bind, one more time.
First of all…wake up…whatever is going on is NOT that bad..there is a light…lift those eyelids a lil bit more so the light can appear.
Shit happens, even when we have the best intentions, best plans…darkness sneaks in and makes our vision a lil blurry.
It’s not about what to you do in those dark or depressing moments, or even how you got there, it’s more about how you come out of them.
Start something new…maybe their is a new horizon waiting for you to conquer it.
When things are in a frenzy or something is awry, what is your first step?
