My third advantage is the opportunity to meet people – my clients. As I have gone through my various journeys both personal and professional, I have learned that I enjoy meeting people. I am not one of those people that will attend functions and work a room, but I am confident enough to strike up conversations with those that appear to be open.
I have met clients various ways, some through others, some via the various online connections. I have been blessed with a diverse group of professions which has opened my mind to different aspects of various businesses. I don’t have a “normal” niche, I would have to say mine are more higher end “public” type of clients. One of these days I am going to create a special name. They range from speakers, workshop/financial strategists, coaches, tv hosts…people that also love people.
As I have said before, when you speak with a potential client, I believe you know within the first 10 minutes if this is a match or not. Once you decide to work together and the bonding begins…it’s magic. You learn each others likes and dislikes. I love it when a client respects my opinion and thoughts enough to ask – that is the ultimate compliment for me.
During these tough times, I would love to acquire a couple of additional clients, but until that happens, I am very happy with the clients I have and I will always do a little extra to support them in their growth so that I can grow as well. My third advantage – I love my clients!
